SALES MANAGER (ASEAN) - INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS
Our client is one of the largest U.S.-based manufacturers of high-speed electronic cables and focuses on products for the specialty electronics and data networking markets, including connectivity.
They are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to provide complete sales and marketing services to all customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory. Also, they are to secure sufficient sales volume to meet or exceed established sales budgets as specified in the profit plan, and accomplish other sales and marketing objectives. Responsibilities:
Maintains effective line of communication with the Sales and Marketing Director - Asean at all times and executes daily sales calls activities in accordance with account potential.
Effectively manage and motivate the Sales Team – Industrial within ASEAN in meeting sales targets and KPIs.
Conveys and explains company policies and procedures to all customers and prospects in a positive and constructive manner.
Makes recommendations to management on ways to improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
Develops an annual territory sales plan keyed to customers and driven by the sales and marketing plans that are to be accomplished.
Educates and informs customers and prospects of new products and programs through personal contact with customer personnel and Purchasing, Engineering, Research and Development, Quality Control and Production.
Provides product training to the distributor at sales meetings and provides for product demand through sales development calls.
Provides assistance and guidance to all distributors to maintain sufficient inventory or product to provide proper balance and depth and turns of the inventory.
Provides the basic data for management decision making by filing reports of daily call activity, weekly plan sheets, two week route sheets, expense reports and four month route sheets and continual reports on competitive proposals, pricing and policy and new products.
Recommends market and product changes and revisions based on potential available in the territory and developing trends.
Requirements:
Degree holder with at least 5 – 6 years of experience industrial sales of terminals, connectors, wires, cables and systems.
Significant and successful experience in managing remote sales teams within ASEAN.
Must be highly motivated self-starters with a proven record in area/vertical sales.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Have a formal Company Sales Training Program on product, technical knowledge and field training to provide a thorough knowledge of all supporting departments and resources available to the customers.
